It now takes three to replace Dalton!!

It appears new Athletic Director Bobby Jones is getting even more help in the position. The district has just announced that they will now staff athletics with a fulltime secretary by taking a secretary from the main office. Since his arrival Mr. Jones has lost the responsibility of the Athletic Transportation, and now gained a fulltime secretary. My math says that it has now taken three people to replace Mr. Dalton as Athletic Director and sporting events have not even started yet this year. It will be interesting to see if Mr. Jones is required to go to games or if even more help is used to cover sporting events. This circus needs a tent over the top as chaos, is now becoming the norm at Trinity and it is sad.
PS: Tell your high school student to be prepared the new high school cafeteria is ready for operation and it will remind you of 1965!!! The elite 8 have struck again, this time in the cafeteria!

Bristor Back as Hiller Baseball Coach!

Finally, some good news from the world that is Trinity Area School District Board Meetings. The BOARD who recently passed a rule that said no administrator could coach, failed to open Levi Bristor's Baseball Position within 90 days after the season as required by the professional contract currently in effect. Translation, Levi Bristor is back where he belongs as the Head Baseball Coach at Trinity, and furthermore it calls into conflict the last policy. Now in my opinion, not allowing administrators to coach might very well void the new policy, if challenged by an administrator. This time the BOARD's incompetence was a good thing!
Finally, Cinderella has nothing on our two Cinderella's and their magic slippers, ask someone who was there I can't put into words what happened its to funny.

PONY WORLD SERIES VOLUNTEERS

It seems odd that we have a new large group of BOARD members working the door at the Pony World Series. On a given night you could see two, three, or even four BOARD members at the PONY gate selling tickets or collecting tickets. Scott Day the BOARD member in charge of the Trinity Area Finance Committee hopefully has a system in place to monitor the revenue received and balance it against the tickets sold, so people will never question anyones honesty. An idea might be to ask Ken Bonnell, who has a long history with Booster organizations, and youth sports to help with the audit.

It just keeps getting better!

Allegedly, we are learning that new Athletic Director, Bob Jones has had many of the former responsibilities of former Athletic Director, Ed Dalton removed from his job duties. It appears that all transportation of athletic events will now be handled by Transportation Director Levi Bristor, Dalton did the athletic transportation when he served as the athletic director. This appears to be an attempt to make it difficult or impossible for Bristor to coach baseball. It also raises many questions about the new Athletic Director's $75,000.00 salary with no experience and less to do, compared to Bristors $35,000.00 salary with experience and more to do. There is an Armageddon but its not financial, its in leadership by the new Superintendent who appears to be over his head in this job!
