If you care about Trinity Sports please attend the Board Meeting tonight at 6:30pm at the high school auditorium

This is the message I received last night, and I feel terrible I have not been able to get back to town to follow up on this story.  What I know it is that rumored on the agenda tonight is the school district is going to give a report on athletics this evening, and the board is attempting to open all the fall coaching positions again this evening.  If I can learn more during the day I will post more and deliver on my promise from last evening if I can get to my computer this afternoon.  By the way, Mr. Day and Mr. Jones went to lunch on Wednesday probably to talk about what?  Mr. Jones as you know does not associate with School Board Members!
One good piece of news our new assistant principal seems to have a sports background and was a collegiate football player at Edinboro State and from what I am hearing either knows or knows players who played for  Coach Dalton and is a fan of him!

Here are a few gifts I wish for some members of the Trinity Board and administration would get this Holiday Season!

Colleen Interval - A big bag to put all the balls she counts in and a personality.
Henry Clemens - The same as Sandy only you are the bus king!

Tamara Salvatori - A phone with unlimited text and cell calls.
Dennis McWreath - The courage to speak in front of people the way you talk behind their backs.
James Knapp - A mental health evaluation for serving with the before mentioned elite eight on this board.

Mr. Bobby Jones - All of the Milli Vanilli albums, you understand them better than most.
Mr. Ed Dalton - The top sports story of 2011 instead of the number two story, "Dalton awarded 1,000,000 by judge"

SCOTT DAY CLAIMS DALTON AND STAFF WILL BE GONE IN JANUARY!

Allegedly, Board Member Scott Day has told people that Ed Dalton and the football staff will be gone in January.  Day who wants a relative to be the football coach and the athletic director has been allegedly unhappy with Ed Dalton ever since he would not fire former Wrestling Coach Jeff Bricker.  Day, actually according to a very good source wanted to himself evaluate Jeff Bricker, who was a two time collegiate All American in Wrestling, and won two WPIAL Team Wrestling Championships as a coach. Scott Day's wrestling resume included being a fan and he quit wrestling in high school according to classmates of Day.  This should make the Christmas Holidays interesting and will really unite our group again for January. [get the auditorium ready]
Remember Athletic Director Bobby Jones told the fall coaches that NO positions would be opened from the fall season and that neither he or Superintendent Paul Kasunich would support or recommend such a move of opening a coaching position.  But maybe Kasunich had to make some promises to keep his job!
Not that Athletic Czar Scott Day cares but our football team has made the WPIAL playoffs six consecutive years and was the only Trinity Fall Sports team to make the playoffs this year, posting a 6 & 3 mark tying for second in the section before losing to West Allegheny.  The Hiller Football Program has been 36 - 19 over the past 6 regular seasons, 2 and 6 in the playoffs.  Dalton has about 140 career wins about 60 of those at Trinity.  I received this information from the Post Gazette.

I HAVE MANY QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERED BY OUR ELECTED SCHOOL BOARD?

click this link to read post gazette article
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/10329/1106074-298.stm

1. Dr. Kasunich was arrested, not the female, therefore Dr. Kasunich was found by the police to have committed a crime , correct?
2. What would we have done to a male student who assaulted a female student, or a teacher, or a coach, or a custodian, or a cafeteria worker, or a principal, or even a volunteer?
3. Don't we have a Board member that already allegedly assaulted an administrator about a year ago on school grounds?
4. When Mr. Bodnovich says Dr. Kasunich enjoys a good reputation according to who?
5. Is Dr. Kasunich divorced, if so why according to his contract is the Trinity Area School District paying his former wife's health insurance?
6. This Board has contracted Nutrician Inc. almost permanently insisted upon by Dr. Kasunich why?
7. This Board hired Bobby Jones, why?
8. This Board hired Dr. Kasunich, why?
9. Who is the alleged other women in this triangle that might tell us much more?
10. Where was Jack Keisling today for the press conference, he told us he picked Dr. Kasunich almost by himself when Dr. Kasunich got hired?
11. Are we really worried about a bullying policy, we all know who the bullies are in this district?  [that will change this spring]
12. Who is going to be the next Board President for this circus act?

BOBBY JONES ARTICLE EMAILED TO ME TODAY

Nine is enough

Jones ‘at peace’ with his resignation

April 22, 2008 - By Cory Giger,cgiger@altoonamirror.com
LORETTO — Bobby Jones always believed he was on the cusp of turning things around at St. Francis.
For years he has said things like, ‘‘We’re there, we’re right there’’ when asked how close the program was to winning.
Actually, the Red Flash were never close to being ‘‘there.’’ With an 18-68 record over the past three seasons, they essentially were nowhere.
Jones never figured out how to fix things, and now that burden will fall to someone else.
Jones resigned Monday, ending his nine-year tenure at St. Francis. He compiled an 85-167 record, including this past season’s 6-23 mark.
‘‘I’m very much at peace with this decision,’’ Jones said.
It was, both he and university officials said, a mutual decision. Jones was still under contract to the university, but he wouldn’t disclose if that contract was good through next season or beyond.
‘‘I can’t get into contract details,’’ SFU president Father Gabriel Zeis, citing university policy, said, ‘‘but he did have some time left.’’
Jones had been involved in ongoing discussions with athletic director Bob Krimmel since the Red Flash season ended March 1. The university conducted an evaluation process of the coach and took its time with the decision before announcing it late Monday evening.
‘‘It became a decision that was best for both sides,’’ Krimmel said. ‘‘I’m excited to go on now, and I think [Jones is] excited to go on.’’
St. Francis plans to conduct a nationwide search for Jones’ replacement, but there’s no timetable to fill the vacancy. Krimmel called the next several weeks ‘‘critical.’’
‘‘We want it to move quickly, but we also want to find the right coach,’’ the AD said.
The men’s basketball program is the school’s most marketable asset, and Krimmel said he knows ‘‘this is a very important hire for the university.’’
Jones’ assistant coaches — Rob Krimmel, Joey Goodson and Winston Smith — will remain in place for the time being. Their fate will be determined by the next head coach.
The decision to part ways with Jones has a major impact on the Krimmel family. The dad is the AD, and he had to make a ruling that could directly affect his son’s job.
‘‘I have to go home to his mom at night,’’ Bob Krimmel joked.
‘‘When I took the job,’’ he added, ‘‘we talked about this could happen.’’
St. Francis will form a search committee that will make a recommendation to Zeis, who has a clear idea of what he’s looking for in a head coach.
First, he said the individual must meet the Franciscan values and mission of the university and must be a good representative of the school.
The coach also must be able to instill confidence in the players and engage them to believe they can win.
An ability to market the basketball program successfully will be key. Zeis wants the new coach to be able to excite fans and get them to believe the Flash can win.
The university’s commitment to winning has been questioned because Jones kept his job so long. Zeis assured winning is a priority at SFU.
‘‘I don’t say that we’re going to have a winning season every year,’’ Zeis said, ‘‘but I want to have a majority of the seasons that this coach comes in to be winning seasons.’’
Lastly, the university president expects the new coach to have a universal vision and understand where basketball fits into the grand scheme of things at St. Francis.
‘‘It is a quality job,’’ Zeis said.
It’s also a tough job that comes with unmistakable constraints, and Zeis acknowledged that when saying the school has to be realistic in its search. St. Francis, with an enrollment of 2,000, is a tiny Division I university in a secluded area, making it a tough sell to recruits.
The school also can’t afford to pay a coach big bucks.
‘‘Certain people may want to come and coach here, but they may not be able to because financially it just wouldn’t be in their best interests,’’ Zeis said.
‘‘I take full responsibility for not being able to produce the number of wins that our fans deserve,’’ Jones said.
Jones, who lives in Hollidaysburg, has always been a loyal supporter of St. Francis. He endeared himself to many with his outgoing personality and represented the school well, big reasons why he was able to coach so long despite the poor record.
The Flash reached the Northeast Conference Tournament just four times in Jones’ nine seasons and never won a playoff game. His best chance for success came during the 2004-05 campaign, when a squad led by scoring sensation Darshan Luckey went 15-12 in the regular season. That team had a lot of pieces in place, but it lost in the opening round of the NEC Tournament at Long Island.
‘‘Of my nine years,’’ Jones said, ‘‘that year really bothers me the most. ... That team, I thought we underachieved. That was the year I thought all the hard work, all the recruiting efforts’’ would help the program compete for an NEC championship.
Luckey gave up his final year of eligibility, and the Flash crashed to a 4-24 record the next season. They went 8-21 in 2006-07 before another disastrous campaign this past season.
Jones said he has no immediate plans and will take some time to decide if he’ll get back into coaching or pursue another venture. He also wanted to stress how appreciative he is of the Red Flash community.
‘‘Our fans have been great,’’ he said. ‘‘Having the opportunity to stay here for nine years, I certainly feel very fortunate and very blessed.’’

BOBBY JONES SAYS BOARD MEMBERS HAVE AGENDAS

Athletic Director Bobby Jones stated at a coaches meeting of many of the Trinity Coaches that he understands that at least eight of the Board Members have their own agendas. It has been reported to us that Jones also told all the fall coaches that their jobs are safe. Jones also reported he doesn't talk to Board members and really does not have time to deal with their personal agendas. Jones also brought up that he is not going to defend his work schedule he is available by phone or email if anyone needs to talk with him. I don't know what to make of this information, but the coaches stated he said it over and over that he doesn't listen to Board members.
Principal Don Snoke from the same meeting allegedly seems to be making many of the decisions with Mr. Jones. Mr. Snoke and Mr. Keruskin it appears are now in charge of facility agreements according to Snoke. Mr. Snoke also stated he has fixed the scheduling software for athletics, so eligibility will now begin to be monitored for winter sports. He also will now be involved in evaluating coaches, and will begin this process next week. Talk about a fulltime job all this and his principal duties!
These reports are from multiple coaches, i am on my way to Board meeting all tell you more later.

NOT A PART-TIME JOB!

I have tried to stay off opinion and on facts, it is time to give an opinion based on facts. We removed an Athletic Director who lived for his job, and his involvement with our students(ask a student), and had major influence in the WPIAL and other local athletic organizations. We removed an Athletic Director who pretty much ran the department almost all by himself, scheduling, finances, transportation, equipment, facilities. We removed an athletic director who lives in our community, and had children graduate from our school and who upon being hired here moved into our community with his family. I won't even get into the football coaching side but I will say the cheer at every home game we love Ed Dalton might send a message to the BOARD. We then replaced our Athletic Director with a person who never worked in a high school, never was an Athletic Director, lives an hour from the school ONE WAY, and does not seem to work very hard from EVERYONE's account. But don't take my word for it ask a principal, or a supervisor, or a coach, or a teacher, about how the athletic/activities spectrum is collapsing in our school district. Ask about Powder Puff Football Night, no security, no administrator, no pep rally,NO,NO,NO you get it. You will get an earful, but because most of the administrators, will not talk on the record, because the other outsider, the superintendent, who lives an hour away, and left his first superintendent job, after 1 1/2 years I wonder why? Enough is enough!! SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND no experience, no desire, disaster after disaster, why? To prove a point? Fix this can someone fix this there has to be a solution? Corporations fix promotions and demotions daily, do we want to be in the paper anymore? Lunches, Lawsuits, on and on?

DON'T MISS THIS INFORMATION!

The elite eight strikes again with the choice of Nutrition Inc as our cafeteria supervisor in place of our former manager who from all accounts except for one BOARD member who got mad at him in her Trinity West days. This fine company who managed the cafeteria at Ringgold had a manager who advised employees on how to cheat on their applications to receive free and reduced lunch. He himself claimed his dog as his dependent. The only winner on the free reduced lunch scam, you guessed it Nutrition Inc. who submits to the government for reimbursement! Nice choice by the education minded not many of us have a college degree Elite Eight.
This one is better, a Trinity Area Athletic Team under advisement by new Athletic Director Bobby Jones played students who don't go to Trinity on a Trinity Team. I don't know what the penalty is but this obviously is not legal and I am sure we will read more about this in the local sports section soon.
Scott Day now helps with Cross Country he was seen helping again with Bobby Jones as the Unoffical Assistant Athletic Director today.
Remember these words "hockey tickets" you will here much more soon. It can't be possible that a school official used a school vehicle for personal use can it!
Thats all fokes I have open house tomorrow at the high school I am sure I will see some of the Elite Eight at the open house. Plenty of snacks should remain from the 9/11 festival.

TRUE OR FALSE

1. A school district administrator has been using a district vehicle for his own personal use?
2. Sandra Clutter said the football team practices five hours a night at the BOARD meeting?
3. Tamara Salvatori is now thinking on her own and doing whats best for students?
4. The BOARD does not permit the assistant superintendent in executive session?
5. Jack Keisling is getting harder to understand each meeting?
6. A Schweinebraten bus was parked at an attorneys office near the school during school hours alledgedly driven by a BOARD member?
7. Bobby Jones was seen at a sporting event?
8. Colleen Interval believes the louder you talk the more that makes you right?
9. Scott Day never played a varsity sport?

11. None of the new members of the Trinity Sports Hall[Bodnovich, Day, Clutter] of Fame Committee played a Varsity sport?

Another Interval Policy!

As if we have not done enough without thinking, Coleen Interval[one of the two shoes] again seems to be rushing into another policy that is about athletics, this time she is smarter than the PIAA who governs sports. Maybe we need to see her transcripts from high school first, as she was obviously a great high school student. What University was that again she attended?
My children stopped buying school lunch, in the past I gave them five dollars a day. I understand healthy eating habits are important, but allegedly we now bake fries that the label says deep fry only...is that legal.
Is it possible one of our Chefs alegedly has a snuff can in his pocket during lunch in plain sight of the students.
Why dont BOARD members sign in when they enter the school building during the day and who should be enforcing this policy.
Scott Day might be soon named an Assistant Athletic Director he is in Bobby Jones office enough to have his own desk.
One of our BOARD members went crazy on a Trinity South Football Coach allegedly telling him it was a privledge for them to use our school districts fields. Um...they are tax payers
Last count 9/11 celebration at Trinity ten cars including Board Members, Superintendent, Honored Guest, Board Members Dad, is that maybe telling you something.
Subtract another job duty Pep Rallies.
Some food service companies in order to get contracts give school officials professional sports tickets, like hockey, thought you might want to know that unusual fact.
By law a school board member is only a school board member during a scheduled meeting... in other words any parent should be allowed to visit the buildings without signing in and see whoever they want correct?

SCHOOL HAS STARTED SOME THOUGHTS AFTER LISTENING TO MY KIDS

Some new thoughts after thinking the Elite 8 might have really fired everyone up by fixing lunch.
1. Lead by example we have seen you guys eat at Eat'n Park after BOARD meetings
2. How many school lunches are Scott Day and his wife going to eat this year. Do they have a lunch account!
3. If you really wanted thousands of candidates for the Athletic Director position at Trinity all you had to do is write a job description. Wanted Athletic Director at AAAA high School, 75,000 dollars a year, no experience required, fulltime secretary, no responsibily for athletic transportation, no responsibility for confirming games, and you are not required to work more than 40 hours in a week. You would have had thousands wanting the job. You can also start your new job before you have completed the application process or you have your clearances or passed a drug test, well you get it.
4. Why don't Board members have to sign in when they enter school buildings.
5. Let's make BOARD Members get Clearances.
6. Lets make BOARD members pass drug tests.
7. Before his tenure is over here will the superintendent ever take a position on anything.
8. I still don't understand how a school bus driver is permitted in any way any contact with a school official that is her boss, this must be a conflict of interest.
9. September 11th 9/11 is a great date to pick for the Bobby Jones reception!
10. Our board president was running his mouth again at the Post Office on his cell phone dropping names outloud and saying non truths about issues and people!
11. Wonder why the hate group picked Trinity to hold a rally, seems suspicious to me.

It now takes three to replace Dalton!!

It appears new Athletic Director Bobby Jones is getting even more help in the position. The district has just announced that they will now staff athletics with a fulltime secretary by taking a secretary from the main office. Since his arrival Mr. Jones has lost the responsibility of the Athletic Transportation, and now gained a fulltime secretary. My math says that it has now taken three people to replace Mr. Dalton as Athletic Director and sporting events have not even started yet this year. It will be interesting to see if Mr. Jones is required to go to games or if even more help is used to cover sporting events. This circus needs a tent over the top as chaos, is now becoming the norm at Trinity and it is sad.
PS: Tell your high school student to be prepared the new high school cafeteria is ready for operation and it will remind you of 1965!!! The elite 8 have struck again, this time in the cafeteria!
